Biography

Officer Adam Beland grew up in the small town of Kapaa on the island of Kauai. After graduating high school, he moved back to his home of origin, New Hampshire. Just a few short months after adjusting to the fast-paced New England lifestyle, he enlisted in the US Army Reserves. Upon the completion of Basic Training, he returned to NH, where he attended NHTI in Concord for Criminal Justice. In 2006, still young and eager to further serve his community, he was hired by the Manchester Police Department. Officer Beland spent most of his career as a patrol officer. He is also a member of the SWAT Team, an sUAS pilot in the Drone Unit, and a Taser Master Instructor. Officer Beland is currently assigned to the Training Unit as the police department’s Recruitment Officer.
